What we’re building

Tepian is rethinking how Canadians search for rental homes. We’re an early-stage company, which means the work is broad, the decisions are real, and what you build ships to users.

What we look for

Strong opinions, loosely held: we argue hard about the right approach and change our minds when the evidence says to.
Comfort with ambiguity: early-stage means the spec is incomplete and the answer isn’t always obvious.
User empathy: renting is stressful. We build for the person in that situation, not for abstract metrics.
Technical rigour: we care about reliability, performance, and doing things properly the first time.
